PAD PRINTING

Pad printing, also known as tampography, on any type of substrate thanks to SM srl technology. The term “pad printing” indicates an indirect process that allows printing on both flat and concave or convex surfaces. Using a soft and flexible pad, the ink is transferred from an engraved cliché onto the printing surface.

Pad printing allows personalisation on any substrate; thanks to our small-sized pads, we are able to personalise any type of object, even the tiniest ones, with permanent printing that lasts over time.

Our inks are of the highest quality and comply with current environmental laws.

Pad printing allows more precise results than those obtained with screen-printing, insofar as thin sections can be reproduced with more clarity. Four-colour printing is also possible using accessories similar to those used in lithography printing techniques.
